Pizza can be healthy and it does not have to be fast food or modified, toxic or additive food.

We can prepare a very healthy pizza , with the ingredients that we want and the best of organic origin .

We leave you a fairly simple recipe for you to prepare a very tasty pizza, as a family. The dough can be made even by children. Then they can put the ingredients on top and you put it in the oven.

Ingredients:

  • whole wheat flour 1 cup
  • wheat flour 0.5 cups
  • yeast 3.5g
  • sea ​​salt 1 teaspoon
  • extra virgin olive oil 2 tablespoons
  • plain yogurt 0.25 cups
  • water 0.25 cups
  • garlic1 clove
  • tomato passata 3 tablespoons
  • oregano1 teaspoon
  • basil1 teaspoon
  • mozzarella - approx. 20g
  • cherry tomatoes5 pcs.
  • basil 3 leaves
  • preheated oven at 220°C

Mix the whole wheat flour and the wheat flour with the yeast (we used fresh yeast) and the sea salt. Add a little less than a tablespoon of olive oil, natural yogurt and warm water. Mix, then knead the dough well - here all the hands in the house are needed , shape it into a ball and store it in a bowl. Cover the dough with a cloth and store in a warm place to rise for an hour.

When the dough has risen, roll it out with a fine rolling pin on a surface, dusted with a little flour. If desired, fold the edges of the dough in. Transfer the dough to a baking tray lined with baking paper.

Prepare the tomato sauce for the pizza. Pass a clove of garlic through a press and mix with the tomato passata. Add half a teaspoon of basil and half of oregano to the sauce. Using a spoon, spoon the sauce into the center of the dough and spread it in a circular motion all over the whole. Put in the preheated oven at 220°C for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, grate the mozzarella and cut the tomatoes in half. After 5 minutes, remove the dough from the oven, sprinkle with grated cheese, and top with the halved tomatoes. Put in the oven 10 more minutes. Once removed, place a few fresh basil leaves on top.
