Shiitake is a food supplement based on an organically grown medicinal mushroom, used for its medicinal properties for at least 3,000 years in Japan and China. Contains essential amino acids, iron, calcium and zinc; group B vitamins; vitamin E and provitamin D, unsaturated fatty acids. Also polysaccharides which since the 80s have been used as a cancer treatment in Japan.
